Hidden in the Canyon artist tour

It is once again time to crank things up for our next Hidden in the Canyon Artists' Tour and Sale. It is scheduled for March 2, 3 & 4th, 2018 and to be the tour around town. We had a great show in November and the overall comments from our guests were that they loved the tour because it got them out and around town and a much more relaxed atmosphere. Sales were good and all of the artists' enjoyed meeting the public and showing off their art as well as selling.

At this point, we need to know how many artists' are interested in being in the show and how many locations we can set up. Our long time friend and fellow artist, Jan Ostberg, has decided to retire from the Art Shows!! It is truly a loss to all of us that her Artists' Studio will not be a stop on our tour. It was great for Lori Martinez to open her home to some new artists' but she will only be doing 1 show a year as well.

So, we need to know if you are interested in participating and if you have a location that you would like to include on the tour?? Please respond directly to me so I can identify how many locations we need.

The fee will be $55 for the 3 days which is a bargain compared to other shows. If you get your registration in before Feb. 1 the fee is only $50. The application is attached and can be mailed to me or given to me directly.

We hope to have another great show before the winter ends. Many new artists' have said they would like to be involved in the show the next time--so here it is!!! Hope you are creating great art and want to share it with our guests!!

If you are not interested in being a part of this show, please let me know as well. I need to keep an updated list of our artists as well.

If you would like to help in the planning process of the Artists' Tour Show/Sale let me know as well. We appreciate new members helping and creating new and better ideas!!

Hello to all fellow artists', AND LOVERS

Happy New Year and I hope this is a great year for all of our great artists' in Black Canyon City!!! Once again, it is time to start making plans for the next Artists' Show/Sale Tour--the dates have been set for March 3,4,and 5th, 2017 from 9-5pm and 12-5pm on Sunday, March 5. We had a very positive response from our October show and wanted to continue the Tour around town again in March.

This does not mean that you have to host at your own house/studio, but we did have several artists at a couple locations in town. So if you want to participate and host at your place, great!! But if you need a place to set up and display, we will have a place for you somewhere here in town.

Are you interested in participating as an artist?? Are you interested in being a stop on the Artists' Tour map?? Or will you need a place to display at a different location??

We will be making some changes to the map from October to include the Artists' name and medium of art and a biography of each artist. So we will need some information from you if you haven't already shared that with us.

We would like to keep growing and getting better so we would like to know of other artists' in town that would like to be a part of this art group. We also would like to set up a committee to help with the planning and action of this art show.
So, if you are interested in being on the committee, please let me know.

The fee for the Hidden in the Hills Artists' Show and Sale will be $45 to participate for the 3 days. The expense of advertising is our highest expense and we would like to make this Tour even better!
